In the tradition
Used in relaxing scent routines.
Essential oils are concentrated aromatic preparations.

- 2Never apply undiluted to skin, and do not take internally.
- 3Patch test before first use.
Storage: Store in an airtight container away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. Best used within 12–18 months to preserve aromatic volatile oils.
- Do not swallow.
- Avoid eyes; patch-test suitable diluted products.
- Keep away from children; peppermint near young children can affect breathing.
- On sedatives or anti-anxiety medication: may enhance effects.
- Pregnant: avoid therapeutic doses.
- Hormone-sensitive conditions: linalool has mild oestrogenic activity.
- Prepubescent boys: avoid prolonged topical use (hormonal sensitivity).
