Cookies

Your basket is kept in your own browser’s local storage so that it survives a refresh. It stays on your device, it is not a cookie, and its contents are not sent to us until you go to checkout.

When you go to pay, our payment processor sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to run the payment and to detect fraud. Those are necessary for the payment to work.

Staff who sign in to the order dashboard are given a session cookie. Customers never receive it.

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary for a service you asked for. Everything described above is strictly necessary — a basket you asked to fill, and a payment you asked to make — so no consent banner is required and we have not put one in your way.

We run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers on this site. If that ever changes we will add a proper consent banner first, and you will be asked before anything non-essential is set.

You can clear site data at any time through your browser settings. Doing so empties your basket, which is the only thing you will notice.
